The goal of this new video series is to show you the process involved in creating a page for Robomeks, from the very first steps to its final publishing. I’ll concentrate on the visual aspect of the process, so the scripting and story-boarding are left out.

El objetivo de esta nueva serie de videos es mostraros el proceso de creación de una página de Robomeks, desde los primerísimos pasos hasta la publicación final. Me concentraré en el aspecto visual del proceso, así que la guionización y creación de story-boards se quedarán fuera.

In the video below you’ll see how I prepare a page, using a “page master” as a template, and use some nice Photoshop tricks to create the panel layout, balloons and texts in the closest way possible to an “analog” (real world) process.
Click on the HQ icon in the player, after you’ve clicked the Play button, to watch it in extremely big size and resolution. Although just watching it in full screen mode, in normal resolution, should be enough to be able to read the name of the layers and such.
En el video de abajo podrás ver cómo preparo una página, usando una “página master” como plantilla, y cómo uso algunos bonitos trucos de Photoshop para crear la composición de viñetas, bocadillos y textos de la forma más cercana posible a un proceso “análogo” (del mundo real).
Cliquea en el icono HQ en el reproductor, tras haver cliqueado en el botón de Reproducir, para verlo en un tamaño y resolución extremadamente grande. Aunque simplemente verlo en modo de pantalla completa, en resolución normal, debería ser suficiente para ser capaz de leer el nombre de las capas y eso.
Desgraciadamente, sólo está disponible la versión en inglés del video.
As you already noticed, there’s a lot of annotations in this particular video. I used them mostly so you understand what’s going on, but the intention of this video series isn’t to be a tutorial, just a showcase. Las usé principalmente para que entendieses qué estaba pasando, pero la intención de esta serie de videos no es ser un tutorial, tan sólo una muestra. In the next update I’ll show you how the “pencils” are done. And following that, the inking, coloring and publishing of a page of Robomeks.
En la próxima actualización os mostraré cómo realizo los “lápices”. Y siguiendo eso, el entintado, coloreado y publicación de una página de Robomeks.
